Position Responsibilities

You will report to the Maintenance Supervisor on site at the Macon, MO facilityTroubleshoot, remove, install, replace, re-build, repair, and test parts/components on plant & production equipmentKeep mechanical equipment in good condition and working orderYou will inspect machines and equipment to locate problems, replace defective parts, and make necessary adjustments to ensure production operationUse manuals, repair manuals, parts manuals, parts diagrams to troubleshoot plant and production equipmentUse hand and power tools to remove, install, replace, re-build, repair, and test parts/equipment on plant and production equipmentPerform electrical and pneumatic work on production machinesWelding, electrical and fabrication experienceYou may work seven days a week and extended shift schedules

Position Qualifications

High school diploma or GED2 years progressive mechanic experience in a manufacturing or production environment.Vocational tech training in machine maintenanceCarry and push/pull up to 100 poundsRead and write English for completion of production/quality documents.Basic math skills of addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions and percentagesFamiliar with and ability to use basic shop equipment, electric arc welder, plasma cutter, torch and basic hand toolsElectrical experience
