ATS has over 1,000 employees and over $150,000,000 in annual revenue. We are currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer to work as a Consultant to customers in the field of mechanical integrity. Job Responsibilities: The Consultant would primarily be responsible for performing inspections and evaluations of industrial equipment (e.g. power generation, chemical, paper mills, etc.) as follows: • Perform field inspections of industrial equipment (storage tanks, pressure vessels, piping systems, rotating equipment). • Generate calculations in accordance with API, ASME, etc. • Generate written reports • Develop ACAD drawings • Manage Projects ranging from $5,000 - $100,000 • Manage field technicians • Prepare reports • Manage client relationships Qualifications Requirements: • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology or possibly Materials Engineering • Entry level to 5 years of experience in tank, vessel and piping integrity assessment, design and / or MI program management • Hands-on experience of any kind • Strong verbal and written communications skills • Dependable, team oriented, and have a positive attitude • Familiarity with standard construction codes and processes • Willing to travel up to 50% • Proficient in MS Office • Ability and willingness to meet the physical demands of climbing ladders and scaffolds, entering and working in confined spaces and often working outdoors in an industrial environment • “U.S. Persons” Only: A requirement of this position is access to information that is subject to U.S. export controls under the U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (“ITAR”).
