Entry-Level Multi-Family Truss Estimator Easley, SC Full Time Engineered Wood & Truss Design Entry Level Share (https://clumber.applytojob.com/app/share/IRnB8rR8XU) Carter Lumber is looking for an Entry-Level Multi-Family Truss Estimator who will be responsible for estimating plans for multi-family components. You will ensure drawings are produced accurately and promptly based on blueprints provided by general contractors. Knowledge of commonly used concepts and practices within the construction industry is essential. Requirements to be Considered for this Position: + Basic understanding of Roof/Floor trusses is a plus + Familiarity of Plan Swift software is a plus + Ability to apply knowledge in the application of the products being designed + Basic skills in basic mathematics, geometry, and trigonometry + Knowledgeable in reading architectural and structural plans + Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and problem solve + Strong verbal and written communication skills + Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook + This is an entry-level position + The salary range for this position is between $50,000 to $60,000 per year based on knowledge and experience Responsibilities of the Position: Estimating: + Estimate Roof/Floor truss and illustrations based on blueprints to produce working drawings. + Complete and finalize estimations for pricing purposes. Analyzing and Troubleshooting: + Review and analyze specifications, blueprints, and related information to determine factors affecting the design of wall, truss, and engineered wood components. Support: + Communicate with production teams, customers, salespeople, and store managers to ensure designs are accurate throughout the process. + Assist stores in responding to questions/concerns from customers.
