Carter Lumber is looking for an Entry-Level Multi-Family Truss Estimator who will be responsible for estimating plans for multi-family components. You will ensure drawings are produced accurately and promptly based on blueprints provided by general contractors. Knowledge of commonly used concepts and practices within the construction industry is essential. Basic understanding of Roof/Floor trusses is a plusFamiliarity of Plan Swift software is a plusAbility to apply knowledge in the application of the products being designedBasic skills in basic mathematics, geometry, and trigonometryKnowledgeable in reading architectural and structural plansAbility to analyze, troubleshoot, and problem solveStrong verbal and written communication skillsWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and OutlookThis is an entry-level positionThe salary range for this position is between $50,000 to $60,000 per year based on knowledge and experienceResponsibilities of the Position:
