You will work closely with a trainer, learning step by step the necessary skills and techniques. **Responsibilities** + Position and fasten workpieces + Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and material onto machines + Select the appropriate tools and materials to be used + Machine parts to specifications + Set up, adjust, and operate all basic machine tools **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Military or farm experience + Associates degree in machine operating + Experience working on automobiles + Ability to read and interpret blueprints + Trainability and a good attitude + Experience in sports, such as football, demonstrating teamwork and physical capability **Why Work Here?** This is a great opportunity for someone wanting to learn the machining trade, essentially getting paid to go to school.
