Job Description
As a Process Planner, you will be responsible for generating internal routers based on customer needs and specification requirements. You will provide effective customer service, confirm sales orders with acknowledgements within 48 hours, and coordinate with the Process Planning Manager to expedite orders. Additionally, you will print documentation for job packets and respond to inquiries regarding orders. Monitoring production job progress to ensure on-time delivery and advising customers of shipment delays, shortages, or special production requirements are also key aspects of this role.
Responsibilities
+ Generate internal routers based on customer needs and specification requirements.
+ Provide effective customer service to all customers.
+ Confirm sales orders to customers with acknowledgements within 48 hours of receipt.
+ Coordinate with the Process Planning Manager to expedite orders.
+ Print all documentation for job packets, including traveler, prints, inspection sheets, and set-up sheets.
+ Receive, investigate, and respond to all inquiries regarding orders.
+ Assist the Process Planning Manager in monitoring production job progress to ensure on-time delivery.
+ Advise customers of shipment delays, shortages, and special production requirements when necessary.
+ Provide customer feedback to the organization.
Essential Skills
+ 2-3 years of Process Planning experience within a plating facility.
+ Experience with computer applications such as basic MS Office and ERP Manufacturing Software.
+ Experience with any ERP software (e.g., Visual Shop).
+ High School Diploma or GED.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Understanding Military and Aerospace specifications.
+ Familiarity with Aerospace industry documentation, such as AS9100, ISO, and Nadcap specifications.
+ Preferred background in Aerospace or Defense material planning.
+ Ideally wanting someone with NO Automotive experience
Work Environment
Core hours are 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with the possibility of up to 5 hours of overtime during training. You will report to the Process Planning Manager and work alongside two other team members in the department. The company has experienced over 20% growth in the past year and is expected to continue this trend. The role includes a 401k match of $1 for $1 for the first 3% and $0.50 for every $1 from 3-5%.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00
