Salary: $23 - $27 / Per Hour

Maxim Healthcare Services in Santa Clara County is in search of individuals to work one-on-one providing in home support to children on the Autism Spectrum as a Behavior Technician! Looking for an entry-level position in psychology, early childhood development, or special education?

We are searching for individuals who are available to work in the afternoons between the hours of 3:00pm-8:00pm Monday- Friday.

Responsibilities:

Help children work on social skills, communication skills, and repetitive or restrictive behaviorsDocument child progress and milestonesFollow and implement behavior change plans created by our Board Certified Behavior Analysts

Qualifications:

Passion for working with children with special needsStrong communication skillsHigh School diploma or equivalent requiredMust be at least 18 years of ageCompletion of college coursework in one of the following programs: psychology, education, social work, behavioral science, human development or a minimum of one year experience working with children in the following capacities: Child Development, Camp Counselor, Paraprofessional, Behavioral Interventionist, ABA Therapist, or Behavior Technician required.*Benefit eligibility is dependent on employment status.
