Your Opportunity as an Entry Level Technician, Coffee Equipment
In this role, you will be responsible for recycling beverage equipment to standards set by the service organization. Your work will ensure the equipment is in new like condition and has the reliability to install at our customer locations. You will be required to manage parts and equipment in the facility based on refurbish production goals.
Location: Coffee Equipment Warehouse in Washington, PA
In this role you will:
Maintain, repair and re-program both liquid and ground roast machinesSpray paint coffee machinesPipes and boilers weldingGain knowledge of electrical circuits related to the equipmentRepair recoverable repair partsLoad and unload equipment either to organize warehouse or to load into the field technicians’ vehiclesKeep workstation and common areas of the repair shop cleanFollow all company safety mandates and policies; attend all required meetings and training seminarsReport all accidents to immediate supervisor the same day it happensDemonstrate leadership to other team members Ability to work overtime as requiredThe Right Place for You

High school diploma with equivalent work experienceAbility to work in a shop environmentComfort with using hand tools and ability to learn how to refurbish beverage (coffee) equipmentAbility to accurately follow instructions and document workAbility to gain understanding of beverage dispensing systems and knowledge of product linesWillingness to learn the schematic nature of equipmentKnowledge of product/safety liabilitiesPhysical requirements: must be able to lift or carry up to 50 pounds, and ability to carry or lift up to 100 pounds with assistanceLearn more about working at Smucker:
