**EchoStar** has an exciting opportunity for an **Entry Level RF Hardware Engineer** in our **Hughes Network Systems** division. This position would be located in our **San Diego, CA** office. **Responsibilities:** + Design, develop, and debug RF and microwave circuits for use in satellite communication user terminals. + Simulate and evaluate RF components to design and create prototypes of transmitter and receiver systems. + Create schematics for RF and analog circuity using CAD tools. + Provide RF circuit placement and layout instructions to CAD engineer. + Perform design verification testing and document results using lab test equipment (spectrum analyzer, network analyzer, oscilloscope, signal generator). + Automate RF tests using LabView. **Basic Requirements:** + Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or similar discipline plus 5 years of experience in Hardware Engineering. + Experience must include six months in each of the following: Electronic Circuits; RF Circuits; Microwave Circuits; MATLAB; Agilent ADS; and SPICE. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or similar discipline, plus 6 months' experience in Hardware Engineering. The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level and competencies. Candidates need to successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test and DMV check.
