This role offers a hybrid work arrangement. You'll spend three days a week in the office, giving you the flexibility to work remotely for two days.
This position offers the opportunity to utilize creativity and innovation to develop CAD 3D design models of steel structures and concrete foundations used to produce 2D drawing deliverables.
You will also be responsible for:
Supporting senior designers by producing structural drawings that are completed on-time and within budget, while maintaining quality, consistency, and accountability that meets or exceeds customer requirements.Collaborating with mechanical and electrical designers to resolve clashes within the 3D model, optimizing the overall design. Travel to client facilities with experienced project team members may be necessary to verify on-site physical design conditions.Adapting to a wide range of technologies in power generation, mining, oil & gas, and renewables. We are leading the charge in carbon capture technologies, while also working in solar, wind, battery storage, hydrogen, and natural gas. Education and experience:
Associate Degree in Computer Aided Design Technology preferredCAD certificate required if non-degreedPrevious relevant experience consideredEssential skills:
