Entry- Level Supply Chain Specialist
Description Our Fortune 500 client with an outstanding reputation is seeking a Specialist in Supply Chain. The Supply Chain Specialist will be directly responsible for developing and executing commodity/supplier strategies, supplier negotiations and supplier selection, while delivering commodity productivity through price, value analysis (VA) and continuous improvement projects, Supplier Relationship Management (SRM). Responsibilities: + Accountability and Ownership for developing & executing a Supply Chain Strategy for an assigned Supply Chain roadmap. + Identify and engage with internal stakeholders to capture commodity requirements and ensure supplier qualification and quality - partner with PM teams to efficiently transition suppliers as needed. + Identify new or alternate sources of supply based on engineering design requirements and part availability. + Responsible for forecasting, reporting, mitigating, and recovery of commodity inflation. + Drive materials planning, buying and inventory strategies across the supply chain; balance inventory levels with customer demand and inventory turn objectives. + Research and provide alternative and innovative solutions to current supply chain process. + If you are interested please click the APPLY NOW button to submit your resume and reach out to Emily Haan directly at 952-882-9399 for immediate consideration. Requirements Job Requirements: + Bachelor’s Degree in supply chain management, logistics or related field required, MBA preferred. + Eight (8) + years Sourcing, Procurement, Logistics or Supply Chain experience. + APICS or CPM certification is preferred. + Experience working with aerospace or electronics manufacturing preferred. + Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written). + Strong ability to professionally negotiate with both co-workers and suppliers. + Proven ability to multitask and manage multiple projects at one time. + Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook). + ERP experience preferred.
