Position
Pacific Office Automation is seeking to add an Entry-Level UC Helpdesk Technician for our growing team. Our ideal candidate is looking to start their career in the IT world, has a technical mindset, strong communication skills and valuable customer service experience. This is a great position to learn how to handle networking issues and interface with end users!
Essential Job Duties:
Provides support for our Hosted Voice customers seeking assistance with Moves, Adds, Changes or Deletions requests. Troubleshooting complex issues with software, handsets, and quality of service-related matters. Maintains best practices for implementation and service among other staff Supports our distributed Data Centers and internal infrastructure. Learning to use apps like Wireshark to troubleshoot handshaking processes for SIP traffic to help isolate call quality and routing related issues. Learn how to use IP networking and IP routing. Help respond to situations where customer equipment and applications have failed and to isolate or fix problems with the product Assist with virtual deployments and data entry of new Hosted Voice implementations. Work closely with senior staff and project managers to execute new installations and add-ons. Any Help Desk experience is a plus.Qualifications
Associate Degree is preferred Technical Mindset Customer Service experience 0 -2 years with VoIP and/or Unified Communications platforms. Excellent written and oral communication skills Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365Benefits
