Job Title: Entry Level Field Geophysicist/Geologist

Actalent is in search of an Entry Level Urban Designer to join one of our architecture and design clients in the King of Prussia, PA area. Their practice seeks to create impact in the communities they serve by championing our firm’s environmental ethos of designing with nature and reinforcing urbanism through our innovative work in design and planning. Their interdisciplinary team values the impact of our collective approach to improve cities while addressing the social and ecological challenges of our time. They are hiring an Urban Designer to join their team in order to keep up with their backlog of projects.

Responsibilities:

• Perform planning and design assignments with some supervision

• Assist with public participation processes and stakeholder facilitation

• Develop project graphics, content & reports

• Support project management duties related to budgeting staff time, developing and maintaining client relationships, and coordinating with other consultants

• Support business development, research, quantitative and qualitative analysis, mapping, writing, public speaking and presentations, and plan design

Qualifications0-3 years experienceBachelor’s or Master's Degree in Architecture, Urban Planning, or Related FieldConcentration in Urban Design preferredProficiency with Microsoft Office, Revit, and AutoCADAbility to learn and operate company-developed desktop and mobile applicationsSoft SkillsClear and concise communication skills, both verbal and writtenAbility to work under supervision and guidanceWork Environment

They currently work a hybrid schedule, 3 days in the office and 2 days remote. When a new hire first starts, they will typically have them work full-time in the office for the first month or two.
