Job Description
A client is looking for an Entry writer to work on an ongoing contract working hybrid onsite 2-3 days a week located in Brentwood, TN. Your responsibilities will include tracking and tracing containers and bills of lading, managing end transits, and understanding the supply chain's status. You will handle assigned ports of entry, track master bills, and manage the movement of freight. Once you know the location of shipments, you will work on the files to process invoices, verify weights and pieces, conduct self-audits, and review system data against submitted documents. You will reconcile discrepancies with the appropriate parties and act as an investigative reporter to ensure compliance with the 10+2 rules (importer security filing). It is imperative that this person has a very strong attention to detail and understands the significance and overall business impact if errors are not caught proactively. This person will be working closely with the team of other entry writers (2) customs analysts, as well as logistics, sourcing, buying, and third-party teams.

Skills and Requirements
o 1-3+ years of experience with entry writing or international transportation coordination
Understanding of international geography
o Strong Excel skills: VLookups, pivot tables, etc.
o Excellent attention to detail and ability to explain the overall impact to the business if errors are made o Bachelors degree
o SOP knowledge
o Managed ISF filings, ensuring required information is provided
o Licensed Broker null
