If you are interested please or email your resume to jack.neighbours@randstadusa.com salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year shift: First work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM education: High School Responsibilities + Familiarity with transportation routing in the U.S. and Canada. + Communicate with shippers to coordinate shipment availability and assess potential impacts on timelines. + Maintain relationships with carriers nationwide, understand internal truckload compliance requirements, and foster positive partnerships. + Manage truckload carrier pickups and multi-stop executions, including tracking and pricing. + Knowledge of LTL carriers, including their service offerings and coverage areas. + Understand carrier service capabilities, tariffs, and accessorials to ensure accurate pricing. + Select the optimal shipment mode, service, carrier, and routing to meet customer requirements. + Manage exceptions in customer order data, create loads in TMS, and prepare bills of lading and load plans as needed. + Track shipments to ensure on-time delivery. + Address potential late deliveries, assess the need for expedited services, and escalate issues as necessary. + Proactively manage delays and exceptions, communicating with customers as needed. + Gather, organize, and report on any additional charges from carriers or to customers. + Ability to run system reports efficiently. + Capable of multitasking while maintaining a high level of accuracy. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills. + Proficiency in all MS Office tools. + Other duties as assigned.
