What part will you play?In your new role, you will be responsible for developing new products or individual components for gas-insulated medium-voltage switchgear systems on the primary distribution levelThis will involve conceptualizing components or parts with a special focus on functionality, weight, and installation considerations, as well as the economic aspects for our new generation of medium-voltage switchgear systemsYou will create functional models and prototypes to validate your conceptsPreparing, monitoring, and analyzing development tests, as well as deriving optimization measures, will also be part of your responsibilitiesYou will collaborate with the Simulation and Technical Testing departments and engage in coordination with internal and external partnersYou are part of an international projectSupporting the procurement department in awarding technical contracts is also within your scope of responsibilityWhat you need to make real what matters.You hold a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or MechatronicsDuring your initial professional experience in the field of engineering, you focused on developing mechanical assemblies with electrical functionality and successfully integrated them into a production seriesHaving first-hand project experience and a proficient use of PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) systems such as Teamcenter and UG NX are second nature to youYou possess strong communication skills and are proficient in both English and can negotiate effectively; knowledge of the German language is advantageousWhat we offer.
