Job Description

HSE

HSE related communication including training, safety alerts and production review meetings.Lead / take part in Incident Investigation facilitating root cause analysis and proper corrective and preventative actions.Participate in/lead plant emergency response teams.Conduct hazard assessments of equipment/jobs to ensure they meet all applicable requirements.Develop/revise HSE related policies/procedures for the plant and drive implementation.Lead safety audits of key program areas to ensure compliance with regulatory and Norms.Conducts formal reviews of new equipment, equipment modifications, or process changes.Maintain documentation to meet Norms and regulatory requirements.Provide leadership and guidance to the plant safety teams.Interact with state and federal agencies and consultants to ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA and other regulatory agencies requirements.

Security

Ensure compliance with Customs and Border Protection Foreign Trade Zone requirements.Updates security related documents, procedures, policies.Ensures the proper functionality of security related equipment (cameras, DVR, access control hardware).Creates Bosch ID badges and assigns the proper access per job requirements.Investigates all security related incidents and completes reporting process.Ensures that third party shared service security provider complies with Bosch requirements.Completes the site security concept (NITRO).Leads security related trainings to ensure compliance.Conducts periodic site audits and self-assessments.

Facilities

Coordinates contractor services to maintain plant facilities in good operating condition.Assists in the assignment of in-house project to the assigned company personnel.Conducts periodic site audits to detect any deficiencies in plant related operations and equipment.Assists with reporting of capital expenditure projects related to facilities and equipment.Coordinates facility related activities with the property manager.Coordinates regular fire suppression related inspections with the landlord and fire marshal.

 

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree - OR - High School Diploma or equivalent, with 3+ years of experience in a Safety or Environmental support role in a warehousing, manufacturing, or industrial environment1+ years of HSE experience in a warehouse, production or industrial environment preferred Must possess: (1) the ability to identify, analyze, interpret, and resolve unusually complex management and technical problems; (2) excellent verbal and written communication skills to accurately document, report and present findings; (3) the ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information; and (4) excellent computer skills: MS Office Suite Applications. Valid Driver's LicenseAbility to work independently and with a team

Preferred Qualifications:

B.S. in Engineering, Health, Sciences, Occupational Safety, Environmental, or other related fieldKnowledge of regulatory bodies and standards (OSHA, EPA, ISO, RCRA, etc.)Knowledge of Safety and Environmental Management Systems (ISO14001, OSHA VPP, ISO45001)
