Position Overview

Assist with Internal Safety & Environmental Audits. Conduct Job Safety Analyses (JSA) and draft procedures for the safe operation of production equipment. Conduct workplace environmental (light, noise, chemical) monitoring. Maintain Safety Data Sheet (SDS) inventory. Assist with environmental & safety compliance recordkeeping. Ensure production signage is up-to-date. Research safety and environmental best practices for internal adoption. May perform other duties as assigned by Quality Compliance Manager and Environmental Health and Safety Specialist.

Position Requirements

Student enrolled full time or part-time at an accredited university or technical college. Some applicable degrees include Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, and Business Administration. Ability to work a minimum of 15 but up to 40 hours per week. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Programs. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers, decimals and fractions.
