**Position Description** Environmental, Safety, and Occupational Health (ESOH) Compliance Specialist, Deputy Warner Robbins Air Logistics Complex (WR-ALC) 2024-62717 Looking for a position as the Safety Representative/Environmental, Safety, and Occupational Health (ESOH) Compliance Specialist where you can make an impact and support Chemical Management Services (CMS) every day? The customer has requested multiple FTE's for this role. We are now seeking a Deputy role. Bring your ESOH experience and make an impact towards our military defense while ensuring required environmental and safety analysis and observations are completed, and providing support during surveillances by local Environmental, Safety, or Occupational Health offices. **This position is contingent upon contract award and this po** **sition is contingent upon your ability to obtain and maintain your DoD Secret clearance.** Serco supports the US Air Force as a prime for their Chemical Management Services performed for Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Aviation supporting the Warner Robins Air Logistics Complex operation. Our team provides support and performs the full range of CMS requirements that includes Hazardous Material receipt and inspection, storage, decanting, shipping, and delivery. **In this role, you will:** + Work on site at the Serco storage facility and use yourextensive experience in the field or in a related area Hazardous Material handling and provide your experience with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the environmental and safety compliance fields related to the job descriptions listed above. + Serve as the specialist to conduct required environmental and safety analysis and observations and supports the Site Manager + Evaluate inspection results, develop corrective action plans as needed, and make recommendations as necessary for maintaining compliance with regulatory agencies. + Develop and provide environmental and safety training to Contractor employees performing under this contract. + Be willing to complete other duties and tasking which may be assigned. **Qualifications** **To be successful in this role, you will have:** + An active DoD Secret clearance or the ability to obtainand maintain your DoD Secret clearance. + 3 years’ experience using a HM Tracking System equivalent to Enterprise Environmental Safety and Occupational Health Management Information System (EESOH-MIS). + 5 years’ experience in the field of CMS management and environmental and safety program management. + Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the environmental and safety compliance fields related to the job description listed above. **Additional Desired or Preferred Experience, Skills and Certifications:** + A bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology, engineering, or related science and/or experience with hazardous waste management and safety procedures. + Familiar with Hazardous Waste Manifest + Hazmat Ground Shipper Certification (DOT) and RCRA Hazardous Waste Management training. + Possess familiarization and training in: + HM Safety Data Sheet (SDS) requirements and record keeping + Experience in developing training plans and providing personnel training in HAZMAT Handling Safety and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) + Compressed Gas Cylinders + First Responder Awareness Level + HW Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) + Hazard Communication Standard + Storage and Handling of Hazardous Material + Shelf-Life Management + HM Transportation + Familiar with DLAI 4112 Pollution Prevention and Green Procurement.
