Develop and implement programs related to environmental and safety to support Delaware Norths long-term sustainability goals. Organize, attend, and assist at environmental events such as waste audits, litter pick-ups, fix-it clinics, green team/safety meetings, and green team events. Document and train associates in our environmental, health, and safety programs Collect and analyze utility data to track progress toward sustainability goals Assist local management to conduct and prepare for inspections/audits Support the Environmental/ Risk Manager in implementing Delaware Norths Environmental and Risk Management programs at Delaware North Grand Canyon to reduce the impact of operations on the environmental and remain in compliance with laws, regulations, and contracts Valid driver’s license required with ability to safely operate company vehicle. Other duties as assigned. More about you Recent graduate or pursuing a degree in environmental, sustainability, or safety-related. Must be willing to relocate to Grand Canyon, Arizona for internship duration. Travel expenses to and from the Grand Canyon are the interns’ responsibility. Dorm-style housing is available. Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher) and Adobe Acrobat Valid driver’s license required with ability to safely operate company vehicle in inclement weather. Looking for an application that is detail-oriented, self-motivated, and has strong communication skills Physical requirements Requires lifting and carrying 20 pounds frequently and 40 pounds occasionally.
