Take the lead in driving environmental excellence across Tradebe NE facilities as our Environmental Compliance Manager. Based in Meriden, CT and reporting to the Regional Environmental Compliance Manager, you'll collaborate closely with Operations teams to embed compliance into daily practices, tackle environmental challenges proactively, and champion continuous improvement.

Regulatory Compliance & Permit Management
Ensure compliance with all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) regulations, internal policies, and Federal, State, and Local environmental permits (e.g., RCRA Part B, Air, Stormwater, DOT) for Tradebe’s facilities located in CT, MA, and NH.
Operational Support & Training
Collaborate with Operations teams to address environmental challenges with technical guidance and research-based solutions. Develop and deliver training programs to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and permits.
Inspections, Audits & Reporting
Conduct permit inspections, support internal audits, and oversee daily site compliance checks. Prepare and maintain compliance reports, certifications, and permit documentation.
Agency Liaison & Regulatory Oversight
Serve as the primary contact for environmental agencies, managing updates, renewals, and compliance issues. Analyze regulations for operational impact and ensure adherence through SOP development and updates.
Data Management & Emergency Response
Track and report compliance data using internal systems (e.g., KPA). Coordinate and support emergency response efforts as needed.
Regulatory Awareness
Stay informed on evolving environmental regulations through research, training, and industry events. QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field preferred. 4+ or more years of direct environmental experience in waste management, refining, chemicals, or a related industry preferred. Experience in a manufacturing, consulting, or related industrial environment. Five (5) years of direct RCRA permitting/compliance, Wastewater Treatment and Air compliance experience Proven ability to effectively communicate and collaborate across all levels of the organization, including Plant Management, Operators, Executives, and external stakeholders such as regulatory agencies, contractors, and consultants Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex regulations into clear guidance Ability to adapt to change, manage multiple priorities, and work independently with minimal supervision Strong organizational skills with the ability to work autonomously given direction and available resources. Physical ability to work on-site, conduct facility walkthroughs, and accompany regulators during plant inspections. Work Environment
On site role. 2 days in the office, 3 days on site. ~25% travel (day trips) in the northeast, once per week to Meriden, CT and Bridgeport, CT, monthly to Stoughton, MA and quarterly to Newington, NH.

Selected candidates who have completed the application will be invited to schedule a 30-minute screening call with of our talented Recruiters. Next, candidates will be scheduled for a one hour in-person interview with the Regional Compliance Manager of the NE and the EHS HRBP. Next, candidate will have a Plant Tour with the Meriden Plant Manager. Finally, candidates will be scheduled for a one hour in-person interview with the Director of Operations of NE, and VP, Operations NE, if needed.
