Step into Your New Role

Kleinfelder is seeking a Senior-Level Environmental Database Manager to be based in the Denver Office to assist in air quality regulatory compliance and lead our Database Management Team.  Hybrid work options are available for this position. 

 

The primary role of this position is to provide leadership and technical expertise for various aspects of air quality compliance programs with an emphasis environmental database development and administration (e.g. ACTS). This may include preparation of greenhouse gas reporting, emission inventories, permit application preparation, regulatory review, recordkeeping, and reporting and program development.  This position is highly technical requiring excellent data management and interpretation skills, strategic thinking to identify and apply logical solutions, ability to understand and apply engineering calculations and quality control procedures, good writing and organization capabilities, ability to work independently or as part of a larger group with capacity to support multiple assignments. A key focus of this position is to provide environmental database management support using Oracle SQL to ensure compliance with environmental requirements associated with the oil and gas industry. The position may also include Project Management and Supervisory Roles.  We are looking for a leader for a small but growing Air Quality Database Management Team, working with the larger Air Permitting and Compliance Team.

 

Experience:

10+ years of experienceTechnical accuracy, the ability to work efficiently and effectively, and have excellent communications skills is necessaryMust have strong computer skills including a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and ExcelExperience in Air Quality permitting and compliance, preferably within the oil and gas industry. Knowledge of relational database systems and Structured Query Language (SQL).Experience with the Intelex ACTS platform required.

 

Education:

BS in environmental engineering and/or compliance, physics, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, atmospheric science, environmental science, computer science, or related field, or an equivalent combination of experience and education.

Benefits: Kleinfelder offers an excellent compensation and benefits package, including: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) plan, and paid holidays. The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act.  Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience. Salary range $102,249-$153,592. We will be accepting applications through December 18, 2023 (90 days since posting date).
