Job Type: Casual, Part-time. These are part-time jobs where you can work up to 1,400 hours in a year. Employees in these positions serve at will. These jobs are called Community Service Aide II's by the City of Portland.

Schedule: Dates: June 9 - August 13, 2024 – Opportunity to start part time prior to June 9. Hours: Monday (8:30am - 2:30pm); Tuesday - Friday (7:30am - 3:30pm)
Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 an hour, depending on experience and training.

Qualifications needed:
+ Ability to promote equity, diversity, inclusion and provide culturally responsive leadership.
+ Experience working with and leading teenagers 14-19 years old from diverse backgrounds.
+ Knowledge and experience with youth programming for teenagers, 14-19 years old, in nature, the outdoors, conservation, environmental education, and/or outdoor education.
+ Knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, OneDrive).
Applicants must also:
+ Be at least 18 years old by June 9, 2025.
+ Have a valid state driver's license and an acceptable driving record (https://www.portlandoregon.gov/citycode/article/12184) at the time of hire.
+ Hold a current CPR/First Aid Certification by time of offer.

Hiring Process:
