CDM Smith is seeking an entry-level Environmental, Water Resources, or Civil Engineer to join our Water Services Group in Honolulu.
This position presents an excellent opportunity for recent graduates to apply their engineering skills to innovative and sustainable water projects and to grow within a dynamic team. Responsibilities include supporting the design and implementation of water and wastewater treatment facilities, sewer systems, pipelines, and associated infrastructure, conducting site assessments, adjusting design parameters, performing water quality analyses and modeling, and contributing to technical report preparation and presentations. This role is aligned to one of our clients and duties could involve: logging and tracking incoming requests, distributing submittals for review, collecting comments, drafting consolidated responses, collecting project status information, inputting status into reports, researching data, producing tables, graphs, and charts, and maintaining periodic updates. Additionally, within this role, you will ensure designs meet client specifications and comply with federal, state, and local regulatory standards. Responsibilities include conducting site assessments, adjusting design parameters as needed, and conducting water quality analyses and modeling. New team members will also assist in creating documents and presentations using tools like ArcGIS, HEC-RAS, SWMM, CADD, Excel, and other software. This position offers a comprehensive project lifecycle experience and opportunities for professional growth and development.
