The position provides engineering support for the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) and Construction Stormwater Programs. Support includes performing reviews of construction and post-construction plans to issue NPDES stormwater permit coverage and evaluate compliance with NPDES stormwater permit requirements throughout the state. This position will be responsible for coordinating with WRD district staff and the regulated audience on construction and post-construction stormwater permitting. This position will develop/update NPDES application and permit language, develop/update technical guidance, determine compliance with permit requirements, and outreach best practices for stormwater management associated with construction and post-construction activity.
