Due to continued growth, our Energy Group is seeking an Environmental Engineer to join our Fort Worth, Texas team supporting projects across the U.S.
Responsibilities Lead air quality programs and overseeing complex projects involving multi-site and multi-person project teamsPerform emissions calculations, conduct air quality impact analyses, and prepare technical reportsLead preparation and review of air quality permit applicationsMentor junior staff and leading project teams for environmental compliance workParticipate in broad-based compliance audits/assessments at oil & gas, utility, and industrial facilitiesPerform inspections for and develop SPCC and SWP3 plansHelp clients with internal processes for managing risks and navigating environmental regulationsConsult with regulatory agencies and clients to ensure compliance with regulationsDevelop LDAR Monitoring Plans and site-specific survey reports, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to regulatory standardsPerform site inspections, general fieldwork, and communicate with clients as part of compliance projectsDevelop and implement OOOOa/OOOOb Compliance Programs Qualifications Bachelors or Masters Degree in Petroleum, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering AND preferred 5 years of air quality consulting experience working with oil and gas, utility, or industrial clientsPreferred experience in Title V, NSR, NNSR, PSD, GHG, Standard Permit, and Permits by RuleStrong knowledge of federal and state air quality regulations and policies across multiple statesExperience with air dispersion modeling, air emissions monitoring and preferred modeling software (ProMax, ToxChem, TankESP, GRI-GLYCalc, Aermod, and/or Screen3)Knowledgeable of issues within ENERCON’s key client sectors, including oil and gas, utility, and industrialDemonstrated ability to develop and maintain long-term relationships with clientsAbility to manage clients and support business development efforts, including proposal developmentProven expertise as a consultant conducting air permitting, compliance assistance, and audits for clientsExcellent writing, communication, strategic thinking, and “people” skillsAbility to travel between 10-20% of the time, duration of travel may vary depending on client needs, ranging up to a few days Additional InformationAbout ENERCON:
