Job Description
Work in the field of environmental site assessments, brownfields, site investigations, and remediation activities. The candidate will work with a team and will receive regular feedback and opportunities for skill development.
ResponsibilitiesConduct multi-media samplingPerform field audits and inspectionsOrganize and review dataWrite and support preparation of technical reportsSupport field investigationsPerform or support preliminary site assessments, brownfields assessments, site inspections, and/or site investigations on sites with potentially hazardous substancesEssential Skills2 to 6 years of professional environmental science experienceExperience in the environmental industry with demonstrated experience conducting site investigations, remedial investigations, and practical field experience performing multi-media sampling including groundwater, soil, and soil gasProficiency with MS Office applicationsAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience supporting remedial design, feasibility studies, hazardous waste, site investigations, site remediation, field sampling, air quality, ecological restoration, radiological issues, and/or water resourcesStrong analytical skills related to qualitative and quantitative dataStrong technical and non-technical writing skillsInformation and data analysisAbility to work on multiple project teams simultaneouslyStrong organizational skillsHighly motivated and able to work well in a team environmentAbility to travel around Bay Area/California projectsWork Environment
The work involves both office and field environments. A physical capacity for working outdoors is required. This position requires you to drive on a regular basis and will require passing a motor vehicle record (MVR) bkg check. You must maintain a good driving record
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $33.17 - $43.27/hr.
