Environmental Engineer
Job Title: Environmental EngineerJob Description

We are seeking a skilled Environmental Engineer or Geologist with 2-5 years of experience in site characterization and remediation to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for drilling and sampling soil, soil vapor, and groundwater monitoring wells, conducting scientific fieldwork, designing and writing reports, and overseeing subcontractors.

ResponsibilitiesConduct drilling and sampling of soil, soil vapor, and groundwater monitoring wells.Perform scientific fieldwork.Design and write technical reports.Oversee subcontractors.Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure project success.Utilize project management tools to manage project data and documentation.Stay current with regulatory frameworks and compliance trends.Essential Skills2-5 years of experience in environmental engineering or geology.Bachelor's degree in Geology, Environmental Engineering, or a related scientific/engineering discipline.Ability to write reports and provide transcripts.Experience in drilling and sampling of soil, soil vapor, and groundwater monitoring wells.Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word and Excel).Additional Skills & QualificationsMaster's degree in a related field is a plus but not required.Proficiency in AutoCAD is a plus but not a disqualifier.Experience in preparing technical reports for regulatory agencies.Ability to work independently without direct oversight.Experience in site characterization and remediation.Ability to learn and adapt quickly.Work Environment

You will be part of a small office of 10-14 members, working in a combination of office and fieldwork. The position involves 50% fieldwork for the first two years, which decreases to 10% fieldwork after five years. Our company culture emphasizes mentorship, with a focus on the development of our team members. We offer overtime pay, performance-based bonuses, and various growth pathways, including technical to project management, expert roles, and business development. Flexible hours are offered to accommodate personal needs, and a mandatory 90-day in-office period is required before transitioning to a hybrid model.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $47.00/hr.
