Join us as an Environmental Engineer and drive compliance and sustainability across our facilities **Why This Role:** + Big Scope: Manage environmental programs across three sites in Central Texas + Key Player: Act as the main contact for environmental agencies, supporting an established company in business for 50+ years + Team Vibe: Join a tight-knit crew, many with 20+ years tenure, in a high-energy, 250+ employee operation. **Your Impact:** + Compliance Guru: Oversee stormwater, air, and waste permits, tracking and reporting data. + Training Leader: Create and lead environmental compliance training for teams. + Manufacturing Ally: Partner with safety and quality teams in a CNC, robotic welding, and shipping-heavy environment. **What You Need:** + Bachelor’s in Environmental Engineering. + 5+ years in industrial environmental roles. + ISO 14001 - Environmental Management System (EMS) extensive regulation experience, auditing and implementation + Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, RCRA regs. + MS Office and CAD skills (AutoCAD a plus). + Strong communication and problem-solving chops. **The Job:** + Ability to obtain certifications for RCRA Hazardous Wastes MGMT, Texas Hazardous Industrial Waste MGMT, Hazmat Ground Shipper, and HAZWOPER (Incident Commander Level V). + Strong knowledge of federal and state environmental regulations (OSHA, EPA, RCRA, SARA, DOT HAZMAT). + Utilize Lean principles, Kaizen, and 5S methodologies to improve production processes.
