Job Description:

Plans, schedules, conducts, or coordinates detailed phases of the environmental engineering work Develops environmental systems, applications, and procedures​ Conducts environmental engineering studies and prepares environmental impact reports for new construction projects and permits​ Provides technical assistance and interacts with project functions, the client, and regulatory agency in the resolution to regulatory issues and industry codes and standards​ Ensures compliance with government regulations and keeps abreast of new environmental engineering policies and technologies​ Supports engineering and project management in understanding and applying regulatory requirements, based on permits and legislationDevelops execution strategies and planning for project permittingEnsures that regulatory approvals are in place to support project execution

Qualification:

Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) environmental and 3 years of relevant experience

Knowledge and Skills:

Familiarity with environmental legislation and industry codes & standards affecting standard design, quality, or processesExperience with regulatory requirements and approval processes with, USACE, PHMSA, USEPAKnowledge of technical theory, engineering principles, good engineering practices and how to apply them to design executionWorking understanding of major project delivery, including the design process and typical project design deliverables
