Your mission:Support local operations, with a particular focus on converting operations, to improve their environmental performance including reducing greenhouse gas emissionsSupport converting operations to comply with regulations and requirements as outlined in our Sustainable Development Management System and in line with ISO14001Enable operations to follow a systematic approach to achieve continuous improvement of their environmental performanceSupport the Business Unit´s development and delivery of MAP2030 Climate & Environment roadmapsPerform environmental visits and audits, with a focus on converting operations, report on findings and support the operations to address findingsAssess changes affecting the Group environmental performance and identify opportunities for improving environmental managementDevelop an environmental managers´ network for converting operations and provide expert guidance to support the network, including accuracy and completeness of environmental reportingYour profile:A higher degree in Engineering, Technology or equivalent (Masters or PhD will be an advantage) and experience in Environmental Management in a manufacturing environmentExperience in industrial manufacturing process and change management Proven record of environmental management system certification, environmental audit experience is an advantageExperience in managing a matrix organisation and demonstrated ability to effectively influence and manage diverse stakeholdersProfessional experience in project management and in analytical environment, including the ability to interpret results and solve problemsStrong communication and negotiation skills, ability to prioritise effectively and work independentlyExcellent written and spoken English, we consider German or other languages an advantageTravel requirements: availability to travel frequently (min. 50%)Our offer:Start: immediate start date possible, considering your availability (e.g. notice period)Location: any Mondi site within the EUDuration: unlimited contractExtent: full-time Benefits: Workplace accomodations Company sport benefits Discount for employees possible Events for employees Health benefits Inhouse doctor Internet connection Meal discounts Mobile phone for employees On-site childcare Public transportation nearby Remote work flexibility Get in touch:
