Job Description An employer is looking for an Environmental Field Technician in the Half Mon Bay, CA area within the operations and maintenance group of a Solid Waste team. They will travel to job site daily and be involved in monitoring & maintenance of the Gas Collection & Control Systems at landfills, collecting and documenting data, monitoring and analyzing landfill gas liquids, and working with pneumatic pumps, airlines, and force mains. They will have the opportunity to be trained on the job and learn to develop a good working knowledge of flame-ionization detectors, photo-ionization detectors, explosive gas detectors, water level detectors, PH/temperature/conductivity meters, and other typical environmental monitoring equipment. A company vehicle (including gas card) & cellphone will be provided.
