CDM Smith is seeking a talented Environmental Technician to join our team in Florida (Tampa/Orlando/Jacksonville). This position involves conducting standard and cutting edge environmental field investigative work. The ideal candidate should be team-oriented and have a high attention to detail:
As a member of this team, you would contribute to CDM Smith's mission by:
• Performing and assisting with field work involving conventional and detailed investigations.
• Performing basic to moderately complex groundwater and soil sampling for laboratory analysis, testing using field analysis kits, and/or collecting data using logging systems.
• Performing routine SVE or GW remediation system maintenance.
• Ensuring that sampling and field SOP’s are followed on all field work.
• Using your best judgment and knowledge of principles/techniques to recommend minor adaptations and modifications during field work as needed and coordinating these with the task leader accordingly.
• Possibly supervising or coordinating the work of other junior staff, technicians and others assisting in specific assignments.
