Parsons is now hiring Geologists for our rapidly expanding environmental projects.** **What You'll Be Doing:** **Supporting various environmental projects in bringing effective solutions to complex environmental problems.** **Working with various clients and regulators in developing these solutions.** **Gaining technical experience as you work towards your professional geologist certification.** **Working with senior technical personnel and project manager to further your career goals.** **What Required Skills You'll Bring:** + Bachelor's Degree in Geology or related field + 3+ years of related work experience + Familiarity with related environmental rules and regulations is preferred + Requires a demonstrated proficiency in both written and oral communication skills + Thorough understanding of all environmental rules and regulations **What Desired Skills You'll Bring:** + Experience with emerging contaminants (e.g., PFAS and 1,4-dioxane) + Experience with sediment investigation and remediation + OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER (and up to date refresher) training preferred. + Fundamentals of Geology certification with goal of obtaining your Professional Geologist licensure. **Minimum Clearance Required to Start:** Not Applicable/None This position is part of our Critical Infrastructure team.
