Here’s the Gist:

Wolfspeed is seeking a dedicated Corporate Health and Safety Professional to help us Protect the Pack by ensuring a safe and compliant workplace. The ideal candidate will develop, implement, and monitor health and safety policies and programs, fostering a culture of EHS excellence across the organization.

The Day-to-Day:

Develops, implements, and monitors company safety & industrial hygiene programs and standards to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local health and safety regulations.Provides safety & IH technical support to site EHS teams to solve complex problems.Interacts with a variety of departments and business units in order to effectively manage and implement projects and initiatives related to safety, industrial hygiene, and contractor management.Monitors emerging compliance changes related to occupational safety and health and evaluates the impact of those changes on the company.Recommends corrective action where health and safety hazards exist.Interacts with team members in the worker’s compensation program and supports the implementation of workplace ergonomics and program solutions.

This Job is Right for You if You Have (Minimum Requirements):

A bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in an industrial hygiene or safety role, preferably in the semiconductor industry.Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.Excellent communication skills and strong problem-solving abilities.Must be able to lift up to 20lbs and walk for prolonged periods of time
