Compensation: $100-115K plus 15% Bonus
Reports to: Director of EHSS
Travel 30% - 50%
Background Required: 7+ years of related EHS work experience including multi-State EHS.

Job Summary:
The EHS Manager is responsible for ensuring that the Sun Auto Stores have effective policies, procedures, plans, systems, business practices, standards, and controls in place to identify, assess, monitor, and manage EHS risks and opportunities of existing and planned operations and to comply with applicable federal and state laws and regulations.
Essential Job Functions:
Support the business strategy to ensure all EHS directives, policies, and initiatives are effectively incorporated at store level. Develop, implement, and execute EHS annual objectives & improvement plans in conjunction with site operations management and Director of EHS&S. Develop appropriate strategies for implementation of new or revised policies and regulations in conjunction with site operations management and Director of EHS&S. Facilitate continuous improvement utilizing web-based EHS management system to administer routine safety meetings, checklist, hazard assessments, and prioritize actions to mitigate these hazards based on overall risk. Enhance and enrich existing EHS training programs. Serves as primary contact for regulatory agencies such as OSHA and the EPA. Prepares and submits periodic state and federal EPA reports. Complete reviews of due diligence-related information including Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments, historical reports, regulatory agency assessments, risk assessments and mitigation plans. Coach field management with the investigation of EHS incidents at the site to identify root cause and drive corrective and preventative actions. Conduct proactive EHS audits and inspections to identify strategic improvement plans. Develop, monitor, and analyze safety KPI’s and drive strategic actions to achieve the pursuit of zero incidents.

Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint).
Education and Experience Required
Bachelor’s degree in field related. 7+ years of related work experience required. Multi-State experience with Safety or Environmental as well as multi-unit retail experience, preferably in automotive service.
