Responsibilities

Our company is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Program Specialist to support a corporate office real estate client. You will play a key role in implementing and overseeing customized EHS programs that prioritize the health, safety, and environmental well-being of our clients' employees and facilities.

 

Partner with corporate office real estate client to deliver and support their EHS program.Implement and oversee EHS programs across various areas, including industrial hygiene, emergency preparedness, hazardous materials management, and environmental protection.Conduct comprehensive EHS audits and inspections of client facilities, identifying and addressing potential hazards and regulatory non-compliance issues.Deliver EHS training programs for employees at all levels.Investigate and document EHS incidents, implementing corrective and preventive actions to prevent future occurrences.Maintain accurate and up-to-date EHS documentation, including permits, reports, and safety data sheets (SDS).Implement corrective action plans to mitigate identified risks and ensure continuous program improvement.Oversee the delivery of EHS training programs tailored to the specific needs of each client's workforce and facility operations.Maintain a deep understanding of federal, state, and local EHS regulations relevant to corporate office environments (e.g., indoor air quality, ergonomics, hazardous materials management).Stay current on industry best practices and emerging trends in EHS management for office real estate.Foster strong relationships with client and providing ongoing support on EHS matters.Support and track EHS program budgets effectively, ensuring efficient resource allocation for client projects.Prepare and deliver clear, concise reports on EHS program performance and client compliance to internal and external stakeholders. Qualifications

Minimum Requirements include:

 

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Engineering, or a related field.One or more years of experience in EHS program management, with a focus on corporate office real estate environments.Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or other relevant professional certification (preferred).Proven track record of implementing and supporting successful EHS programs.Understanding of EHS regulations applicable to office buildings, including indoor air quality (IAQ) standards and building codes.Working knowledge of federal, state, and local EHS regulations.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and EHS management software.
