• Ability to ensure regulatory compliance testing for water and wastewater systems, including sample collection, testing procedures, and scheduling. Collects wastewater samples on a daily basis.

• Monitors the system by monitoring chemical additions, making changes when necessary, and performing various wastewater testing, including sludge depths, pH, sludge age, F/M ratios, RAS/WAS.

• Ability and understanding of the Water Distribution Systems and the ability to operate and maintain the system within the parameters provided for in the rules and regulations of the State of Idaho.

• Participates in all audits, including those done by state and federal government regulatory agencies.

• Monitors Biogas buildings and the Covered Anaerobic Lagoon (CAL) sludge for depth, pH ranges, and gas production within the system.

• Able to use computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to submit notifications, look up records in CMMS, and verify completion of tasks and training.

Must have prior leadership and/or supervisory skills.Must have or obtain at minimum a small systems water license within twelve (12) months after employment.Understanding of activated sludge wastewater treatment system and the mechanics.About McCain.
