Summary: Works alongside construction management and government agencies to ensure comprehensive environmental compliance throughout all phases of T&D, Substation, and Civil Power construction projects. Responsibilities Develop and implement project SWPPP's, SPCC plans. and other applicable plans to ensure environmental and agency compliance. Public relations meetings and documentation. Obtain Federal, state and local permits Obtain and work with contractors to complete separate phases of construction. Conduct Environmental training for all employees. Design BMP's to comply with federal and local regulations. Order BMP's and track environmental spending. Completes pre-construction surveying within the Project area. Biological monitoring of the Project area for species of concern and avian activity Implements appropriate flagging and signage to comply with environmental concerns and mitigation. Conducts noxious weed monitoring and management. Inspects, evaluates, and amends project best management practices (BMP's) as needed in accordance with the Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan and contractual requirements. Work with and inform construction crews on the importance of wetland mitigation. Updating project maps with field redlines and maintaining a Project database for final as-built maps. Participate in project meetings to convey environmental concerns and compliance. Qualifications Knowledge of Mobile Concrete Batch Plant compliance.
