Job Description
Lead the preparation of wetland applications, zoning applications, planning and zoning applications, and other permitting applications as needed. Lead or attend regulatory meetings related to above applications. Collaborate with senior team members in the successful completion of various other projects related to engineering, environmental, planning, development, and more. Obtain or collaborate with the team to obtain permits or certifications as required. Liaise with clients and other parties related to each project. Provide field inspection services as needed.
ResponsibilitiesPrepare wetland, zoning, planning, and other permitting applications.Lead or attend regulatory meetings related to these applications.Collaborate with team members on various projects related to engineering, environmental planning, development, etc.Obtain or collaborate to obtain necessary permits or certifications.Liaise with clients and other parties regarding projects.Provide field inspection services as needed.Essential SkillsSite planningWetland and environmental planningPermitting and zoning analysisBachelor’s degree in Planning, Environmental, Architecture, or Landscape ArchitectureAt least 3 years of relevant experience as an environmental planner or site plannerExcellent interpersonal, organizational, verbal, and written communication skillsSelf-motivation and ability to follow direction and work in a team environmentKnowledge of local and regional land use plans and initiativesUnderstanding of environmental regulationsKnowledge of land use, zoning, land use management, and community servicesProficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, and SketchUpAdditional Skills & QualificationsKnowledge of Adobe Suite, SketchUp, and/or AutoCAD is a plusWork Environment
