This opportunity entails being under close supervision, assist departments by performing basic assignments in the areas including, but not limited to Science, Planning, Technology.  This position is usually on a part-time, temporary, or co-op basis.

Our Plano, TX office seeks an Environmental Planning Intern for Summer 2025.

Relocation and housing are not provided for this position.  

What You’ll Do:

Assists project team members with various support tasks.Conducts basic research and data collection.Maintains records, collections and files related to specific projects.Assist in the development of graphics, presentation materials and reports.Performs other duties assigned.

What You’ll Need:

Enrolled in a related undergraduate or graduate program

What We Prefer:

Two years completion of post-secondary degree programPursuing a major in and/or coursework experience in natural resources sciences, environmental planning/studies/sciences, land development planning, or civil engineering with a focus on or interest in environmental and/or transportation planningAwareness or general understanding of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA)Previous internship experienceWorks well in a team settingProblem solving and analytical skillsDocument writing and editing skillsGIS mapping and web research skillsFamiliarity using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
