Key responsibilities include: + Identifying and developing new business opportunities with both new and existing clients, and preparing related proposals. + Actively participating in and leading the strategic planning and implementation efforts for the Northwest region. + Overseeing and managing complex technical projects, utilizing your expertise to help WSP expand its practices and capabilities through industry leadership, business development, and client management. + Directing multiple remediation and restoration projects, ensuring they meet scope, budget, and schedule expectations while maintaining high-quality standards on deliverables. + Overseeing the comprehensive delivery of remediation and restoration projects, including planning, financial management, change management, risk management, and contract/subcontract management. + Building and maintaining trust-based relationships with clients, regulatory personnel, and other project stakeholders. + Effectively managing and nurturing client relationships to encourage repeat business. + Mentoring staff in technical, consulting, and business development skills. + Leading and supporting recruitment efforts for key staff hires to grow our practice in the Northwest. **Who Are You** **Required Qualifications** + Bachelor’s degree in geology, hydrology, or environmental, civil, or chemical engineering, or a related field + Washington, Oregon, and/or Idaho professional registration (e.g., P.E., P.G.), or ability and willingness to obtain + At least 12 years of post-education environmental consulting experience + Demonstrated success in the development and management of clients + Proven leadership skills and experience in managing complex projects and teams + Experience managing the overall delivery of projects, including project planning and controls, financial management, change management, risk management, and contract/subcontract management + Detailed understanding of soil and groundwater remediation regulations + Detailed understanding of Washington and Oregon regulations + Experience with multi-disciplinary project teams + Ability and willingness to travel within region and occasionally outside region + Valid U.S. driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel **Preferred Qualifications** + Advanced degree in the same fields + Current OSHA 40-hr HAZWOPER training and refreshers WSP Benefits: WSP provides a comprehensive suite of benefits focused on a providing health and financial stability throughout the employee’s career.
