We are currently seeking a Project Manager to join our team in South Florida. The Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring that projects are initiated, planned, executed, and completed successfully on time and on budget. This role involves managing and controlling multiple small projects within a general portfolio of services, including environmental compliance, emergency response, assessment, remediation, and industrial service. The Project Manager will be instrumental in directing, coordinating, implementing, executing, controlling, and completing projects while aligning with the organization's strategy, commitments, and goals.
ResponsibilitiesPlan and implement projects, defining scope and deliverables.Define tasks and requirements to complete the job.Manage project budgets and allocate resources.Create project schedules and track deliverables.Manage and implement change when necessary.Monitor and report project status.Ensure top-quality results and project success.Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.Use Microsoft Project and Excel for project planning.Schedule resources using Microsoft Teams (Shifts function).Handle timekeeping and accounting with Deltek.Collaborate with the executive team and corporate directors to establish project needs, deadlines, and budgets.Prepare invoicing and manage project closure and assessment.Essential SkillsProject Management Professional (PMP) certification or pursuing PMP.Experience in project management within the construction, engineering, or environmental industry.Proficiency with project management and project accounting software.Experience managing internal stakeholders in a matrix model organization.Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, sciences, or other relevant fields.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in environmental compliance, emergency response, assessment, remediation, or industrial service.Certifications in a technical field are a plus.Work Environment
The work environment includes an office setting with periodic site and client visits. While the preference is for the Project Manager to be in the office every day,. Site visits are typically 2-3 times per month and are day trips. Most of the work is conducted in the office.
