Job Title: Environmental Project Manager

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Environmental Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will manage and oversee environmental investigation and remediation projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. You will prepare technical reports for submission to regulatory agencies such as the Regional Water Quality Control Board (RWQCB) and the Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC). Additionally, you will conduct soil sampling, environmental monitoring, and other fieldwork activities. Collaboration with clients, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies is essential to ensure project success. You will also mentor and develop junior staff, providing guidance and support as needed. Utilizing project management tools to manage project data and documentation, you will stay current with regulatory frameworks and compliance trends.

Work Environment: This role offers a supportive environment with an emphasis on mentoring and development. The team consists of 14 members. Full-time in-office work is required, but flexible hours and work-from-home options are available if needed. For the first two years, the position involves 50% fieldwork, which decreases to 10% fieldwork after five years. Employees benefit from lower pressure on billability and the opportunity to see projects through from start to finish. The company pays overtime and straight time and offers a 4-5% annual bonus based on performance. There are three main growth pathways: Technical to Project Manager to Business Management, Technical to Expert to Renowned Expert, and Technical to Project Manager to Sales/Business Development.


Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $42.00 - $65.00
