Environmental Project Manager

Kwik Trip Inc. This position is responsible for managing multiple projects related to Underground Storage tank systems. Projects would include, but are not limited to: CQM Inspection tracking, Manage UST system testing and compliance at new and existing locations and dispatching vac truck technicians.

 

Responsibilities:

Manage retail fueling project inspections. Manage Kwik Trip’s Continuous Quality Management program on new to industry stores, rebuild locations and large addition type projects.Manage the work order process to address CQM needs.Communicate with Petroleum Contractors and Project Managers to ensure completion of deficiencies.Manage post installation regulatory and compliance testing.Documentation review and handling of post installation reportsEnsuring fuel system compliance for underground storage tank systems. Working with regulators in the states Kwik Trip operates to ensure fuel system compliance.Track deficiencies from testing and ensure completion.Respond to state inspector needs/request following inspections and be the primary contact for the state authorities for fuel system compliance items or concerns.Review state inspection and annual compliance testing results.Staying up to date on all state and EPA codesDispatch vac truck drivers and perform all necessary troubleshooting and documentation prior to issuing work orders.Obtain Class AB Operator credentials.Data and file management support Kwik Trip’s regulatory and compliance documentation. Complete UST tank use permit renewals annually for all sites in WI.Conduct file maintenance by tracking incoming electronic reports and moving them to the appropriate files.Review sensor status reports as needed and create work orders for response.

 

Job Qualifications:

2 Year/ associate degree / 2-4 years minimum years of experience.

 

Knowledge:

Knowledge of petroleum equipment compliance code in WI, IA, SD, IL and MN to ensure proper testing and compliance is being met.Knowledge to read and comprehend site plans as well as basic building construction practices to provide technical support.Knowledge of Kwik Trip safety procedures to provide a safe environment for customers, coworkers, and vendors.Knowledge of Microsoft products, AS400, Maximo, OnBase, tank monitor programs, Adobe, Service. Channel, and OutlookKnowledge of operational performance of petroleum equipment to be able to troubleshoot for service and fuel loss investigation. Knowledge of methods used in preparing statistical and other reports containing budget information and recommendations to provide accurate and complete reports.Skills in basic use of Microsoft products, AS400, Maximo, OnBase, tank monitor problems, Adobe.Skills in interpreting and programming tank monitorsManage and maintain positive vendor relationships as demonstrated by negotiating mutually beneficial. ContractsDemonstrating problem solving skillsDemonstrating outstanding customer service, communication, and organizational skills

 

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday or as needed by the business.
