Environmental Project Manager

Manage Underground Storage Tank environmental equipment upgrades. Initiate actions to resolve problems related to underground storage tanks, Stage I/II vapor recovery systems at all monitored locations in the assigned region. Work with vendors to obtain necessary permits. Interact with Regulatory Agencies, Maintenance, IT, Wholesale and Fuels Groups to coordinate any compliance deficiencies or issues. Assist director with special compliance projects/issues. Resolve compliance matters of high-level complexity with minimal supervision. Analyze possible solutions using standard procedures. Working knowledge of environmental compliance regulations in assigned regions. Assist Environmental Compliance Specialist with resolution and needed repairs. Manage repair schedule. Manage workflow and monitor completion of assigned projects.ACCOUNTABILITIES•Work with Environmental Compliance Manger on projects in assigned region to assure complete, timely and accurate project completion.•Coordinates/manages environmental site work with operational and fuel dispatch teams to minimize impacts to site operations. •Reviews and approves Scopes of Work, manages project accounting, and approve project invoices via Laserfiche invoice system. •Works daily to minimize budgetary impacts through ongoing development of technical expertise and regulatory knowledge base. •Analyzes the cost of projects to develop solutions to better manage all activities and related costs. •Works with all stakeholders to coordinate required closure assessments with appropriate consulting firms. •Maintains historical documentation in internal systems. •Conducts trend / risk analysis reports to determine areas of opportunity for company management;•Provide a variety of data and recommendations to assist the management team in developing strategy to lower company exposure by proactively addressing potential risk rather than reacting to events that occur. •Report project progress and effectively document and implement all learnings.
