Job Title: Environmental Project Manager
Job Description

As an Environmental Project Manager, you will manage projects from proposal development to invoicing and accounts receivable management. You will ensure the timely delivery of professional services that meet local and state regulations, company quality standards, and planned project profitability. Your responsibilities will include managing and executing environmental site assessments, groundwater monitoring programs, soil and groundwater remedial actions, environmental compliance auditing and permitting, and other related services. You will make independent and collaborative decisions on engineering or scientific problems and methods, provide technical direction, and communicate effectively with clients and regulatory agents. Additionally, you will mentor staff and contribute to business development activities.

ResponsibilitiesDevelop proposals and contractsLead project teamsForecast and manage project budgetsEnsure timely and high-quality service deliveryManage environmental site assessments and related servicesMake decisions on engineering or scientific problemsProvide technical and operational directionWrite technical reportsCommunicate with clients, third parties, and regulatory agentsAdhere to health, safety, security, and environmental standardsMentor and develop staffContribute to business development activitiesEssential SkillsMinimum of 15 years of environmental experienceHands-on field and office-based activities in environmental consultingExperience with soil, soil vapor, and groundwater assessmentsProfessional Engineering license or Registered GeologistOSHA 40 HAZWOPER certificationExperience with Phase 1 and Phase 2 projectsProficiency in Microsoft SuiteValid driver's licenseBachelor’s degree in engineering or scienceAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience in business developmentWork Environment

This role requires at least one day per week in the office and the candidate must reside in Tucson. The company offers a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401K, and an employer-funded Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $130000.00
