You’ll get an introduction to the Water/Wastewater industry through hands on experience at the San Marcos Wastewater Treatment Plant. Working alongside biologists, plant operators and maintenance specialists, you’ll gain exposure to the wastewater treatment process, lab testing and reporting, support facility maintenance of the plant, and shadow the varying projects and responsibilities you and your team will be assigned on site. Pave the way for your career with a company that inspires and empowers you to deliver your best work so you can evolve, grow and succeed - today and into tomorrow. * In pursuit of an Associate Degree in Science * Strong people skills * Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs * Valid driver’s license with no major infractions Ideally, you’ll also have: * In pursuit of a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Geography, Water Resources or other related majors in science background * 3.0 GPA * Exceptional verbal and written communication skills * A previous internship related to your field of study OR * Volunteer work related to your field of study * Self-driven time management and organizational skills Jacobs is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
