Environmental Scientist / Asbestos Investigator
Job Description
Will work on a diverse range of projects and field work assignments.Providing field work and office related support to projects related to site investigations and environmental inspections.Assist with field work tasks for on-going projects throughout the five boroughs.Assist in preparation of project planning documents, data evaluation, and report preparation using iPad and tablets Working efficiently individually and on project teams.Tracking/meeting contractual and regulatory deadlines.Will be a part of Client meetings and project development
Qualifications
4+ years of experience performing Asbestos Inspections Comfortable using a tablet and iPad in the field MS Office Suite Experience40 HR HAZWOPERNYCDEP Asbestos Investigator LicenseNYSDOL Asbestos Inspector License
Preferred Qualifications
Associate's Degree or equivalent Experience with ACP 5'sAdditional Certifications such as NYSDOL Mold Inspector, NYSDOL Lead Inspector, or Industrial Hygiene experience and certifications.Work Site
This position is located in New York, New York.60% in the field, 40% in the officeWork Environment
Will report to the Environmental Supervisor.
Team consists of 8-10 Environmental Scientists and Inspectors.
Will be working 60% in the field and 40% in the office for projects throughout New York City and the Five Boroughs.
Will work on NYC Agency Projects and Developer projects.
Will be interacting with client’s and developers. Will be using iPad and Tablets in the field.
