The successful candidate must have a technical background and possess knowledge and experience in a variety of remedial operations such as drilling, operations and maintenance, and remedial applications. This person will have the ability to independently support remedial projects including sampling activities, drilling oversight, groundwater and soil treatment applications, and remedial system operations and maintenance. This opportunity will primarily focus on oversight and documentation of field activities, and related technical reporting. Strong interpersonal skills are required, including the ability to communicate clearly and confidently, both written and verbally, to all project team members including client representatives, regulators, and APTIM colleagues alike. Travel to project sites will be required. **What you can expect from APTIM:** + Work that is worthy of your time and talent + Respect and flexibility to live a full life at work and at home + Dogged determination to deliver for our clients and communities + A voice in making our company better + Investment into your personal and professional development **Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:** + Collection, documentation, and interpretation of field data for management review and incorporation into project documents. + Preparation of technical documents such as annual reports, work plans, completion reports and CERCLA decision documents. + Work collaboratively in a team environment, provide input on technical, project, and safety issues. + Management/oversight of subcontractors. + Utilization various field sampling and monitoring equipment, including knowledge of equipment calibration and maintenance. + Conformance with applicable regulatory codes and standards as well as company policies and procedures. + Adherence to established schedule and budgets for the performance of field and office work activities. **Basic Qualifications:** + Bachelor's Degree in a Scientific Discipline (Geology, Engineering, Environmental Science, etc.) + Possess a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant industry experience. + Valid Driver's License with Clean Driving Record required. + Possess or have ability to readily obtain OSHA HAZWOPER certification. + Ability to wear proper PPE for work on hazardous waste sites; lifting and physical work will be required. + Must be able to work in the field in all types of field conditions/weather. + Willingness to work occasional overtime, including weekends, to meet project deadlines. + Ability to travel for field assignments. **Who we are and what we do:** APTIM is a global industry leader headquartered in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
